I will now talk about iPhone 12 design and display
iPhone 12 features a design that is a departure from the rounded edges of its predecessors, instead opting for a flat-edge design reminiscent of the iPhone 4 and 5 series. The front and back of the device are made of glass, while the frame is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum. The use of glass and aluminum gives the iPhone 12 a premium and sleek appearance.
As for the display, the iPhone 12 sports a Super Retina XDR OLED display. The screen size is 6.1 inches diagonally, and it has a resolution of 2532 x 1170 pixels. This results in a pixel density of approximately 460 pixels per inch, providing sharp and vibrant visuals. The OLED technology delivers deep blacks, high contrast ratios, and excellent color accuracy, making for an immersive viewing experience.
The iPhone 12’s display also features True Tone technology, which automatically adjusts the color temperature based on the ambient lighting conditions to provide a more natural viewing experience. It supports HDR content playback, including Dolby Vision and HDR10, allowing for enhanced dynamic range and more lifelike colors in supported videos and photos.
Additionally, the display is protected by Ceramic Shield, a new type of glass developed in collaboration with Corning. Apple claims that the Ceramic Shield provides four times better drop performance compared to previous iPhone models, making the iPhone 12 more durable and resistant to accidental damage.
I will now talk about iPhone 12 processor and camera

The CPU of the A14 Bionic chip consists of two high-performance cores called Firestorm and four energy-efficient cores called Icestorm. This combination provides a balance between performance and power efficiency, allowing for smooth multitasking and faster overall performance compared to previous iPhone models.
The GPU on the A14 Bionic chip delivers improved graphics performance, enabling enhanced gaming experiences, smoother animations, and faster graphics-intensive tasks.
The Neural Engine, with its 16 cores, is designed to handle machine learning tasks. It enables advanced computational photography features, Face ID facial recognition, and other AI-powered functions.
Moving on to the camera, the iPhone 12 features a dual-camera system on the rear. It consists of a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1.6 and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.4.
The wide-angle lens utilizes optical image stabilization (OIS) to reduce blur and shake in photos and videos. It also supports Night Mode, allowing for better low-light photography with improved details and reduced noise.
The ultra-wide-angle lens provides a wider field of view, allowing you to capture more in your shots, whether it’s landscapes or group photos.
Both cameras on the iPhone 12 support Smart HDR 3, which intelligently adjusts exposure and tone mapping to capture more details in highlights and shadows.
On the front, the iPhone 12 has a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera with an aperture of f/2.2. It supports features like Night Mode, Deep Fusion, and 4K video recording, enabling high-quality selfies and FaceTime calls.
I will now talk about iPhone 12 with 5G connectivity and MagSafe
The iPhone 12 introduced 5G connectivity to the iPhone lineup, offering faster download and upload speeds compared to previous generations. It supports both sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G technologies, providing compatibility with various 5G networks around the world.
Sub-6GHz 5G provides broad coverage and improved speeds compared to 4G LTE. It offers faster download and upload speeds, reduced latency, and an overall enhanced browsing and streaming experience.
mmWave 5G, on the other hand, delivers even faster speeds but with more limited coverage. It excels in dense urban areas and crowded spaces, providing ultra-fast download and upload speeds that can rival wired broadband connections.
It’s worth noting that 5G availability and performance may vary depending on the carrier and location. Not all regions or carriers have widespread 5G coverage, so it’s important to check with your carrier for the availability of 5G in your area.
In addition to 5G connectivity, the iPhone 12 also introduced MagSafe, a magnetic system that allows for easy attachment of accessories to the back of the device. The back of the iPhone 12 contains an array of magnets that enable a secure connection with MagSafe accessories.
MagSafe accessories include magnetic cases, wallets, chargers, and other compatible attachments. The magnetic connection ensures that the accessories align properly and stay securely attached to the device.
MagSafe chargers provide a convenient and efficient way to wirelessly charge the iPhone 12. They can deliver up to 15 watts of power for faster charging compared to standard Qi wireless chargers.
MagSafe also enables new possibilities for accessory developers to create innovative and functional attachments that enhance the iPhone 12 experience.
I will now talk about iPhone 12 storage options and software

iPhone 12 offers different storage options to accommodate varying needs. It is available in three storage capacities:
- 64GB: This is the base storage option and is suitable for users with minimal storage requirements. It can hold a decent number of apps, photos, and videos, but may fill up quickly if you frequently capture high-resolution photos or record videos.
- 128GB: This middle-tier storage option provides more space for storing apps, photos, videos, and other files. It offers a good balance between storage capacity and affordability, making it suitable for most users who want ample storage without breaking the bank.
- 256GB: This is the highest storage option available for the iPhone 12. It provides a generous amount of storage space for users who require large storage capacity. It is ideal for those who capture a lot of high-resolution photos and videos, download and store large apps and games, or have extensive music and media libraries.
The storage capacity you choose depends on your usage patterns, such as the number of apps you use, the size of your media files, and how frequently you transfer or delete content. It’s worth considering your storage needs and preferences before making a decision.
Regarding software, the iPhone 12 runs on Apple’s iOS operating system. At the time of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the iPhone 12 was launched with iOS 14, which introduced various features and improvements to the iOS ecosystem.
However, since then, Apple has released subsequent versions of iOS, and the iPhone 12 is compatible with those updates. Users can update their devices to the latest version of iOS available at the time, which may include new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and security improvements.
